Ok, as there seems to be some confusion with anglers on what is and isn’t allowed for the upcoming event on Lake Nipissing I am laying out ALL the information below regarding the practice periods and off limits times for all events. All of this information is already in the event descriptions HERE on Tourney X, and the Facebook event pages. PLEASE make sure you read these event rules and the general tournament rules and understand them. If you have questions direct them to the OKBT and not other anglers to ensure you get the correct information Not knowing the rules is not an excuse that is acceptable.
Lake Nippising
There will be no practice period or pre-fishing for this event. All tournament waters are closed and off limits until start of the event.
Balsam Lake
Due to closed season for Bass, all tournament waters are off-limits from the start of official practice period on Saturday June 10th until start of the event on June 17th.
Lake Simcoe
Official practice period starts 12:01 am Saturday July 8th and ends 6:00pm Wednesday July 12th. Tournament waters are off limits from end of practice period until start of event.
Georgian Bay
Official practice period starts 12:01 am Saturday August 5th and ends 6:00pm Wednesday August 9th. Tournament waters are off limits from end of practice period until start of event.
Tri-Lakes
Official practice period starts 12:01 am Saturday September 2nd and ends Wednesday September 6th at 6:00pm. Tournament waters are off limits from end of practice period until start of event.
Official practice period: the period that you are allowed on the
tournament waters to pre-fish, graph, scout or whatever you want to do using a tournament legal vessel only.
Off-Limits: Means tournament waters are closed and you are not allowed on the tournament waters at all in any vessel for any reason.
