The OKBT September ‘Damn Straight’ Challenge has come to an end. This was the first time trying this format and it looks like it went over well with the participants. For those wondering what the challenge was…the anglers needed to submit five bass in the form of a straight (like in poker) where the bass were in consecutive length graduations. One bass per inch measurement, for example a 15.25, 16.50, 17.75, 18.25 and a 19.50.
The month-long event saw 71 anglers take to the lakes and in the end, it was a close battle at the top. Lots of lead changes in the last week as they all tried to catch the upgrade they needed to maximize their score. Adam Connor put up a solid card of 98.50” for the win. Second place was Richard Ofner with 98.25” and John Webster, who led for a couple weeks took home third place with 98.00”
1st Place – Adam Connor – 98.50”
2nd Place – Richard Ofner – 98.25”
3rd Place – John Webster – 98.00”
Congratulations to the top three and all that took part.
