On a cold, wet and windy day a bit reminiscent of day 2 on Nipissing, 19 OKBT angers launched on Lake Nosbonsing in Astorville ON for the first OKBT ALL IN event of the season.
With no practice or pre-fishing these events need the anglers to make the right decisions on tournament day and to decipher all the info in front of them to put it together for the day.
Today was no different. Challenging conditions met to he anglers at the ramp. A drop in temps and some rain and wind was on the menu for the day. John Foley started off the day with he first fish, a beauty of a smallie measuring in at 20″. After that the fish catches came in slowly but as it never fails they were being caught. These anglers never fails to to amaze that no matter the conditions they always find the fish.
Today was no different and congratulations go out to:
1st place – Mig Sig – 88.25″
2nd place – Joshua Hood – 86.25″
3rd place – Alex Stark – 85.75″
Big BASS – John Foley – 20.00*
Honourable mention to Ian Hodgkins who tied for third with 85.75″ but lost the position in a tie breaker.
